The summary, in three lines
This website sets no first-party cookies. None for analytics, none for advertising, none for social media.
The only thing stored in your browser is whether you prefer the light or the dark theme. It is not even a cookie: it is a preference that stays on your device and never travels to any server.
That is why you will not see a banner asking your permission: there is nothing to consent to. The detail is further down, along with a button to delete that preference whenever you want.
1. Cookies and local storage: not the same thing
One cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and that is sent back to the server on every visit. That is why they can be used to recognise you, follow you across pages and, in the third-party ones, build advertising profiles.
El local storage (localStorage) also stores information in your browser, but with one important difference: is not sent to the server. It stays on your device and is only read by the code running on your own screen.
The applicable law —Article 22.2 of the LSSI, which transposes the European directive— does not talk only about cookies, but about any way of storing or retrieving data on the user's device. That is why this document covers both.

It is a an interface preference you asked for: it is only created when you press the theme switch button. It contains no personal data, does not allow you to be identified, is not shared with anyone and never leaves your browser. It falls within the consent exemptions of Article 22.2 of the LSSI and of the cookie guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, which covers interface personalisation preferences chosen by the user.
Want to delete it now? This button removes it from your browser instantly. The page will go back to following the theme set on your system.
3. What is not here, and that is no accident
This website is built from plain HTML files with no external dependencies: all the code and the styles live inside each page. That means your browser connects to no other server while you read it. Specifically, none of this is here:
If you want to check for yourself, open your browser's developer tools, go to the network tab and reload: you will see that the only thing downloaded is this page itself.
One exception, so the story is not told half-way.
The chats. There is an «Any questions?» button at the bottom right on the service pages, and an assistant at novantrek.com/secret. While you are reading they do not connect to anything, the same as the rest of the site; but if you write to them and hit send, what you write goes out to an artificial intelligence provider so it can answer you. That uses no cookies and does not track you, and it is explained in full in section 5 of the privacy policy. On this page and on the other two legal pages there is no chat.
The measuring of visits. Since 27 August 2026 this website counts its own visits: which pages get opened, where people come from and what they click. And it does it without a single cookie —hence this page still saying there are none— and without storing your IP address. It is not Google Analytics or any third-party service; the software is my own and the data never leaves the server. It is explained in full in the section 2a of the privacy policy, including why there is no need to ask your permission.
If your browser sends the signal Do Not Track, nothing about your visit is measured.
The rest of the site still has no first-party cookies, no third-party analytics and nobody following you.
4. Technical cookies from the hosting provider
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As part of its service protecting against attacks and automated traffic, Cloudflare may set strictly technical and security cookies, outside the control of the owner of this website. The most common are:

These are cookies necessary for providing the service and for the security of the site, exempt from the prior consent requirement. They are not used for advertising or to track your browsing across websites. You can see the detail in the Cloudflare cookie documentation.
5. When you click a link and go somewhere else
This website links to third-party pages: WhatsApp for messaging, escaneatucarta.com to see the digital menu product. The moment you open one of those links you leave this site, and there there may well be cookies and policies of their own that the owner of this website neither controls nor can change. Worth reading theirs if that concerns you.
7. How to manage cookies and storage in your browser
Apart from the button in section 2, you can control any website's storage from your browser settings. In all of them, clearing «site data» or «cookies and other data» also removes this page's theme preference:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also browse in private or incognito mode: closing the window deletes anything that had been stored.
8. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the way the site works or the providers involved change. The version in force is the one published here, with its date at the top.

About the translations of this text
This document is available in several languages for convenience. The Spanish version is the only legally binding one. If a translation says something different from the Spanish version —through an error, a nuance or a word with no exact equivalent— the Spanish version is the one that counts.
This is not a way of dodging responsibility: the translations were produced by software and reviewed by the site owner, not by a sworn translator.
