Novantrek designs websites, automation and custom systems. Its website sets no first-party cookies: here you can see the little your browser stores and how to delete it.

In a nutshell
This website sets no first-party cookies: no analytics, advertising or social media cookies.
Your browser only stores preferences you choose: light or dark theme and, if you ask for it, that your visits are not measured. They never leave your device.
Cloudflare, the hosting provider, may use technical security cookies.

1. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser and that is sent back to the server on every visit. That is why it can be used to recognise you, follow you between pages and, in the case of third-party cookies, build advertising profiles.
Local storage (localStorage) also stores information in your browser, with one important difference: it is not sent to the server. It stays on your device and is read only by the code running on your screen.
Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI, which transposes the European directive, applies to any way of storing or reading data on the user's device. That is why this policy covers both.

All three are local storage, not cookies: they contain no personal data, do not identify you and are not sent to any server. They are preferences you ask for, within the exemptions of Article 22.2 of the LSSI and the cookie guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
3. Your preferences, one click away
Turn off visit analytics
The service pages count visits without cookies and without storing your IP (details in section 3 of the privacy policy). If you would rather your visits were not counted, press the button and this browser will be left out of the analytics on every page.
You can also open any page with ?no-medir at the end of the address (?si-medir to switch it back on). With your browser's Do Not Track signal turned on, nothing is measured.
Delete the theme preference
Removes the saved theme from your browser. The page goes back to following your system theme.
4. A website without third-party trackers
Everything this website loads comes from novantrek.com: the pages, their styles and two in-house programs, the visit counter and the questions chat. While you read it, your browser does not connect to any third-party server: no Google Analytics or other external analytics, no Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn pixels, no adverts, no Google Fonts, no embedded videos or maps and no social media buttons.
You can check this in your browser's developer tools, in the network tab: every request goes to novantrek.com.
If you type into the questions chat on the Spanish-language pages, your question goes to a program on novantrek.com itself that answers with texts written in advance, without artificial intelligence and without cookies. Visit analytics does not use cookies or store your IP either. Both are explained in the privacy policy. The legal pages have neither chat nor analytics.
5. Technical cookies from the host
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. As part of its protection against attacks and automated traffic, Cloudflare may set strictly technical and security cookies. The most common are:

They are necessary to provide the service and protect the site, and are not used for advertising or to follow you across websites. The details are in Cloudflare's cookie documentation.
The private analytics dashboard, on a subdomain reserved for the Novantrek team, uses a technical session cookie (nvk_gestion) only for whoever signs in to it. On sign-in, the dashboard also sets a technical security cookie (nvk_gestion_equipo), which lasts up to 180 days and is only sent to the dashboard itself: it remembers that this browser has signed in before, so that the limit on failed attempts from other devices does not lock it out. Both are strictly necessary and do not require consent.
6. Links to other websites
This website links to others, such as escaneatucarta.com, the digital menu service for restaurants, which has its own cookie policy. When you open a link to another site, that site's cookies and policies apply.
8. How to manage storage in your browser
As well as the buttons in section 3, you can control cookies and storage for any website from your browser. Clearing "site data" or "cookies and other site data" also removes this website's preferences:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
In a private or incognito window, everything stored is deleted when you close it.
9. Changes and contact
This policy is updated when the way the site works or the providers involved change, and always before switching on any new element. The version in force is the one published here, with its date at the top.
