    We set up and maintain your server, your own or a VPS (a rented virtual server) in the European cloud, for example with Hetzner or Hostinger.

  • Equipment and local AI

    We choose, buy and install computers and servers, including ones with a graphics card for local AI, and leave them up and running.

    We get your office network running and protected, with secure access for working from outside.

Questions about infrastructure

Your own server or the cloud?
We decide with you based on your data and how you work. Your own server suits sensitive information or local AI: you buy it once and the data stays in the office. The European cloud, for example with Hetzner or Hostinger, suits starting without buying equipment or working from several locations, with a monthly fee to the provider.
Can I buy the equipment myself, or do you take care of it?
Whichever you prefer. If you buy it, we tell you exactly what to order. If you would rather we take care of it, Novantrek chooses, buys, installs and leaves the equipment up and running; it is quoted separately, with the model and its price in writing before anything is bought.
What is a VPN and what is it for?
It is an encrypted connection between your home (or phone, or a trip) and your company's network: you work from outside as if you were in the office, without leaving your files open to the internet. Novantrek sets it up and tests it with your equipment.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
Three seals for your domain. SPF says which servers may send email on your company's behalf, DKIM signs each message and DMARC says what to do with the ones that do not match. Properly set up, your emails reach the inbox instead of spam, and it is harder for anyone to impersonate your company.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what you need, which is why we start with a free analysis: it ends in a fixed quote in writing, covering what is installed, what is bought and what it costs. Equipment and provider fees (cloud, licences) come with their price in writing before anything is bought.
Who looks after it once it is installed?
If you like, Novantrek keeps looking after it for a monthly fee: it checks the alerts, applies updates and makes small changes. It goes in its own proposal, depending on size.
